Manfred Eccli (Bolzano/ Bozen 1981) studied architecture in Vienna, Madrid and Porto.
Since 2018 he lives with his family in Italy and works in Kaltern/ Caldaro on Architecture projects and artistic Installations.
In 2006 he founded together with Pedro Cavaco Leitão the artistic collective Moradavaga.
Intersecting architecture, art and design, Moradavaga´s work has gained international recognition as evidenced by its participation in events promoted by renowned institutions and organizations such as Walk&Talk (Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Azores), Altrememorie - Parco dell'arte (Val Saisera, Friulian Alps, Italy), XXI Triennale di Milano (Objects After Objects, Portuguese Oficial Representation), Minus 20 Degree (Art & Architecture Winter Biennale, Flachau), Centro Cultural de Belém(Tanto Mar – Portugueses Fora de Portugal, Lisbon), Guimarães 2012 – European Capital of Culture, Fundação de Serralves ,Oficina Segovia 2016 (Noche de Luna Llena), or its nomination for major awards in the sector as South Tyrolean architecture prize 2015 (Finalist) Mais Imaginarius 2014 (Winner), Berlin Urban Intervention Award 2013 (Finalist), Prémio Nacional de Arquitectura em Madeira 2013 (Honorable Mention) or Prémio OutrosMercadus’10 (Finalist).
From 2008 to 2014 he worked as freelancer with the Berlin based studio raumlaborberlin.
In 2011 he founded together with Marius Gantert, Andreas Krauth, Urs Kumberger and Verena Schmidt the office for Architecture and Urbanism “Teleinternetcafe” in Berlin, with whom he won the first price for the urban planning competition “Kreativquartier München” in Munich, Germany.
Since 2017 he is a member fo the art association "Südtiroler Künstlerbund".
